Comarch Expert Day 2025: Exploring E-Invoicing, AI, and Compliance in Germany and Beyond

On July 15, 2025, Comarch Expert Day took place, bringing together professionals from across Germany and neighboring countries for a day of focused discussion on e-invoicing, compliance, and digital transformation. Held at BMW Welt in Munich, the event explored the challenges and opportunities of digital invoicing, with a special focus on regional regulations, global compliance, and AI-driven innovation.

Stefan Groß opened the day with a keynote titled “Tax Meets AI”, offering a sharp analysis of the intersection between artificial intelligence and tax functions. Michael Heil (DHL) and Susanne Machanek (EY) delivered a joint presentation outlining DHL’s journey from fragmented regional systems to a unified global e-invoicing strategy, highlighting the importance of standardization, internal alignment, and governance alongside the right technological tools.
