Dominican Republic Extends E-Invoicing Deadline for Certain Taxpayers

The Dominican Republic’s Tax Authority (DGII) has issued Notice 12-25, granting an extension to a specific group of taxpayers for complying with the national e-invoicing mandate.

Taxpayers classified as “Large Local and Medium-Sized” (Grandes Locales y Medianos), who were originally required to implement e-invoicing by May 15, 2025, now have until November 15, 2025, to meet the requirement. This extension applies only to those already in the process of adopting the e-invoicing system.

The full text of Notice 12-25 is available in Spanish on the DGII’s official website.
