In the first quarter of 2010, the Comarch Group achieved more favourable financial results in comparison to the first quarter of the previous year. Revenue from sales decreased by 14 million PLN, i.e. 8.8%, yet operating profit increased by 2.8 million PLN, i.e. 47%, and net profit was higher by 2.7 million PLN, i.e. 96%. In the first quarter of 2010, operating profit amounted to -3.1 million PLN, and net profit amounted to -0.1 million PLN. The EBIT margin was -2.2% and net margin reached 0.1%.

Comarch has signed a partnership agreement with Hitachi Data Systems. The agreement is a confirmation of cooperation between the companies that has taken place over the past few years.

In the fourth quarter of 2009, the Comarch Group achieved very favourable financial results. Revenue from sales amounted to 233.1 million PLN, operating profit was 26.1 million PLN and net profit attributable to the company’s shareholders amounted to 27.6 million PLN.

According to a report on the VoIP services market published by Infonetics Research, one of the largest analytical companies in the world, in the first half of 2009 global revenues from the sale of VoIP services amounted to 21 billion US dollars. In light of these facts it is significant that Comarch has a wide range of VoIP solutions in its portfolio.

Comarch and Inspur intend to break into the China ERP market together. Comarch and the Chinese Inspur Group have agreed on the general outline of a joint venture for breaking into the Chinese ERP market together. The stated goal of both parties is to conclude the negotiations during the next few weeks.
