Joanna Bilewicz joins the Comarch Management Board. The People Sector gains strong representation at the highest level of decision-making

Effective 6 August 2025, Joanna Bilewicz, who has served as Chief People Officer since June, has joined the Management Board of Comarch S.A. This decision reflects the growing importance of human capital in the company’s development strategy and underscores the significance of the newly established People Sector – the unit responsible for shaping and implementing Comarch’s HR policies.

The appointment of Joanna Bilewicz to the Management Board is an important step towards strengthening the role of the employee perspective in strategic decision-making. - People are the foundation of our organisation. The competencies, commitment, and development of our teams are today not only an operational support but one of the pillars of Comarch’s competitive advantage, recently emphasised Jarosław Mikos, the company’s CEO.

The strategic role of the People Sector
Established only a few months ago, the People Sector was created in response to the challenges posed by the organisation’s dynamic transformation. Its mission is to foster a work environment that encourages innovation, development, and employee engagement – both in Poland and in international markets.

Joanna Bilewicz’s appointment to the Management Board strengthens the position of the People Sector as a key partner in driving organisational change and development.

Global experience and local roots
Joanna Bilewicz is a leader with over 20 years of experience in human resources management, gained among others within the global structures of Electrolux. She has successfully led organisational transformations in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East & Africa region. Her expertise covers the full spectrum of HR activities – from talent management strategy and building organisational culture to employee engagement and development in highly complex and dynamic environments.

Notably, Joanna has an in-depth understanding of Comarch’s culture and values. She is a graduate of AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków – an alma mater closely intertwined with the company’s DNA, whose origins are deeply connected to the city’s academic community.

Her return to Kraków is not only a professional decision but also a personal one. - After years of working across different cultures and organisations around the world, I want to apply my knowledge to create, together with the Comarch team, a world-class work environment here in Poland – where the heart of the company beats, Joanna Bilewicz emphasised. - Our people are the driving force behind our innovation and growth. Having the People function at the board table ensures that every strategic decision reflects our commitment to attracting, developing, and inspiring the best talent. This step underscores our belief that when our people thrive, our business thrives, she added.

Looking ahead
Joanna Bilewicz’s appointment to the Management Board is not only a reinforcement of HR expertise within Comarch’s decision-making structures but above all an investment in the company’s future as a modern and attractive employer.

Comarch announces further initiatives aimed at developing the People Sector and emphasises that details of upcoming projects in this area will be shared progressively with employees and business partners.
